I have just been, on a Sunday evening, and it was a pleasant experience. They were a little slow opening because some work-shy, nasty, toe-rags had burgled the place the previous night looking for cash in the till ( erm, sweet-hearts, everyone empties the premises of cash nowadays because of nasty people like you - did you boast about it to your parents and grand-parents? Or did you know it was wrong and nasty so kept it hidden from them?) and bottles of alcohol ( hidden cameras in future). However, despite this they provided excellent, friendly, service and freshly cooked food. Main meal for two plus several extras, pudding, coffees and a bottle of wine and drinks came in at under £50. Ambiance was mellow and under-stated. I'll be going again.
