Just Like Me Toys.com was found in October 2014. After a number of years of looking for black dolls that represent our growing Black African/African Caribbean and mixed race population in the UK with limited availability and in some cases, no black dolls were visible in our shops and stores. My concern led me to research the manufacturing of black dolls. My research led me to a wide range of manufacturers of dolls where I found doll manufacturers making dolls for children of the world. With this information at hand, I obtained a number of samples, talked with friends and family, visited nurseries and schools, made endless visits to some of London's departments stores, all of whom confirmed my concern that there is a lack of availability of black dolls. When the dolls were launched on the market, the dolls were warmly received by the shops and customers online. Just Like Me Toys.com has been trading now for 1 year. Our products are of good quality, they are great for expressive play and an important tolls for building self-esteem and a sense of self-worth. They make the perfect gifts at unbeatable prices.

All our current dolls are for children age 3 years and above. They have been sourced from some of the best quality dolls manufacturers in Europe and other parts of the world. They are made in compliance with EU safety rules and regulations. Our range consists of ballerina rag dolls; made from a mixed fabric, soft-bodied dolls with vinyl legs, arms and head. They are as the name suggest soft and cuddly. And because our soft-bodied dolls are extra special, they cry and talk. We have a number of dolls made from vinyl; our caricature dolls - large heads, small bodies are vinyl, girl doll dressed in African attire is vinyl and our baby doll is all vinyl with skin that is smooth soft to the touch.
