I just had my car repainted from Silver to red it is only a little Fiesta and I'm not at all pleased with the outcome it has more damage to the bodywork now than it did when it first went it!! After taking it back I was still unhappy with it I had another body shop look at it and they said that the primer had not been applied properly or had been mixed up incorrectly I paid a lot of money for this work and I feel as if I have paid for something I have not received. There's no other way to describe the company other than a complete cowboys

Do NOT use this company they're unprofessional and not at all skilled the repair to my car was terrible & mostly filler!! AVOID!!!!

Saga claims line suggested 3 body repair workshops. I did not know which ones to choose. She suggested they were all the same. So I let her stear me towards Kartec. She booked me an appointment with kartec. Tuesday 23/02/16 10 am to take photos and go into garage Wednesday 24/02/16. At 12:30 on Tuesday when no one had arrived I rang Kartec and told them no one had arrived. I was told the guy was running late and that she thought someone had phoned me which they hadn't. Should have rung alarm bells. The guy arrived at 14:00 had no idea that he was supposed to be here at 10. He took his photos and I told him I was booked in for tomorrow. He was surprised and told me to confirm with Kartec which I did they told me to bring the car in next Wednesday 2nd March as the authorisation should have arrived. On Thursday 25/02/16 I rang Kartec spoke to Kaye she told me nothing had arrived from Saga and she would chase it up! Friday I rang same tale she would chase it up. Monday 29/02/16 rang Kartec same tale would chase it up, but to bring in the car on Wednesday and they would have the added leverage of me being there to get some action from Saga. On Tuesday 01/03/16 I rang Saga to ask them what was happening, they had not received the information from Kartec. They had lied to me all week! Within 2 minutes of talking to Saga I had the information that they had no pictures to make their assessment, which had Kartec rang Saga they would have been told as I had. So Saga said they would get onto Kartec to have the photos sent over this was 09:30 by 15:00 still no photos had arrived. So Saga told me they would get the Engineering team to get them sent as a priority at 16:50 no photos had been sent. I have complained to Saga saying that these people are representatives of Saga and are rubbish. This is an entire week wasted for me, time off work booked for no reason.

I took my car into the dealer garage for a quote on repair for significant denting to a door and rear wheel frame bodywork, the dealer insisted the damage wasn't repairable and needed the door and frame replaced, costing thousands. Kartec however went out of their way to be helpful and repaired my car making it look like new within 4 days for a much more reasonable price. I was very impressed with their service and would highly recommend them for any bodywork repairs.

I would stay very well clear of these people. I had a minor accident and they could not fix my car despite having it back in 3 times. Among the other problems: paint literally coming off!! when you touched it. I was told I should pay more for having paint that sticks to the car!! They could not get the wheels alignment right!! The steering wheel had to be kept 1/4 of the way to the left to go straight. Thankfully my insurance sent me to another repairer who will take care of the car. STAY WELL CLEAR OF THESE PEOPLE!!
