I booked an escort , namely Barbie supposed to be of German nationality when in fact she is Romanian, not that it matters but Barbie and her friend scammed me out of £300 and stole my passport. I booked the lady through Katies and assumed she would be reputable as you would with any professional agency. Appon arrival at my home Barbie forced me to invite her friend in too and made me transfer double the agreed fee in return for extra time. I then went to make a drink and discovered upon my return to the front room they had done a runner. I informed the agency straight away and was advised that I had been tricked into paying the money into Batbies personal account and there was nothing they could do as they had also lost out financially also and was told that Barbie (real name Ana-Maria Paraschiv would be no longer represented by the agency. I furnished the agency with evidence of the bank transfer and crime reference numbers but was still not helped at all. About 6 months later I checked their website only to find that Barbie was back on their books. I immediately informed the agency, to my amazement could recall the incident some 6 months prior with no hesitation but was advised that she was coerced into committing the scam by her Co worker despite having the funds paid directly into her account. Upon my then informing Katie at the agency that I worked for the press and had again reported the matter to the police I was advised that Barbie would once again be sacked as she wasn't aware of the situation despite reiterating it to me 5 minutes previously on the phone (recorded) I have never once been offered any financial reimbursement nor empathy or support with the legal police investigation. I have now gone to the press and will be advising as many people as I can as to the conduct of this agency.
