Kavanagh's Catering offer personal and bespoke catering for all occasions and are based near Hatfield Peverel.

We have a passion for excellent food and cater for all events from intimate dinner parties in your own home to much bigger gatherings for weddings or corporate events.

We are very flexible and our aim is to please our customers so we work with you to create a menu that suits your taste, dietary requirements and budget and offer the very best service with excellent attention to detail ensuring that your special event is memorable.

Our funeral catering service is outstanding which is exactly what you want when you are dealing with the loss of a loved one. Freshly prepared sandwiches with delicious fillings, home-made sausage rolls and homemade cakes are served with unlimited tea and coffee by our uniformed staff. We will set up at the venue either in your home, marquee or church hall, using white china cups and saucers and plates and serve tea and coffee to your guests for 2 hours (longer if needed) and then clear everything away leaving the venue tidy.

For events such as Weddings, Christenings, Anniversaries and Birthdays, we offer various menus. You may wish your wedding or party to be less formal and instead of a three course sit down dinner, opt for one of our cold or hot fork buffets which can include a starter and dessert. The starter is served to your guests at their table but the main course and dessert will be a choice of dishes and so your guests will be served by our staff from a banquet table. You may wish to have afternoon tea instead or have a selection of hot dishes served in white china bowls at your birthday party – this is an excellent way of serving food to guests to eat standing up and is more substantial than canapés, basically you choose 6 dishes including a dessert and we turn them into mini portions for you and your guests to enjoy.
