STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

They're terrible. Absolutely terrible. We had massive problems from before the start to our tenancy up until now (we've send our notice of termination about a week ago). Firstly we were advised we could move on 01/08 - when we were there that day to sign the contract (van hired and everything) they just told us that they didn't know anything about it and that the contract wasn't ready; inventory not carried out etc. We finally moved the week after however the house was VERY dirty and there were loads of personal items left. We complained about them and they said "well that's not our problem". Then we found out that the beds & sofas (furnished property) did not have the fire safety labels on them so they were breaking the law and our contract. When we complained about this our property manager Rachel Knowles told us in person that it was not her problem and that it was up to the landlord. After threatening with the ombudsman and legal action they finally agreed to replace everything - but when the 'new' sofa arrived it didn't have the label on it either! So we went to complain again and after about 6 weeks they finally did what they were legally supposed to do and give us a couch with the fire safety labels. That was not the end of it though as since we've had problems with the radiator in the living room not working - we told them about this about 4 times and someone was going to come however 4 months later (and this is throughout the winter) it's still not fixed and we haven't seen anyone. Now we've found a new flat through a different agent - they contacted Pattinson to get a reference but Pattinson are charging them 25pound+VAT! I'm absolutely appaled by the way they treat customers and I really really hope that by writing this I can at least warn people.
