Beware Of Excess Charges%u200E -

I took my car here two years ago for an MOT thinking support local small businesses. What I was not prepared for however was the £300 quote they came up with on a list of repairs that my car needed to pass its MOT. Frankly I couldn't afford it and paid for the failed MOT and took the car home where it sat dormant for two years. This week I finally had the money to pay for a new MOT and the repairs I'd been told about but as we had since moved house I took the car to another Garage, again a locally owned business. I just received the quote for the total repairs being £57. To find out that Kennett Car & Commercial were quoting me £300 citing repairs which were not necessary has angered me greatly. So no I will not recommend these people. If I had the receipt I would report them to Trading Standards.
