I am a professional painter and decorator with over 25 years experience in the trade, based in York. I cover any area including Harrogate, Ripon, Thirsk, Pickering, Beverley, Hull, Sheffield, Leeds and all villages inbetween.
My main area of work is in domestic painting & decorating I carry out such work as wallpaper stripping, interior painting, wallpaper hanging & exterior decoration in private homes, for landlords & businesses throughout Yorkshire and beyond.

I have 25 years experience with full City & Guilds including the Advanced Craft Certification, CSCS, IPAF & a Carillion Security Pass.
I have worked in many different environments from domestic & restoration through to commercial & industrial but my grass routes lie in Household Painting & Decorating.
I did my training with Holiday of York Decorators (Jack Holiday, now retired) working at many different residential properties all over Yorkshire and on restoration projects at Scamston Hall, Middlethorpe Hall & Castle Howard.
In 1991 I moved to work as a forman for a large decorating contractor looking after upto 12 men at a time on jobs worth upto £25,000.00.
I worked for myself for a while then went into a partnership (Classic Interiors) after 8 years the business had grown so big my partner & myself worked seperatly & then the partnership finished.

Fantastic Job
We hired Kevin & Martin to carry out complete interior redecoration of the four-bedroom house we had purchased in Beverley, before moving in. The work was completed on time and at the agreed initial budget. The work was done by Kevin, his son Martin, and one other decorator. We were delighted with the quality of the work. Absolutely everything was done with thoroughness (door handles, light fittings etc all removed before painting). Moreover they carried out quite a few additional things as they arose, including removing the old carpets that we were having replaced and fitting some new skirting. All done in excellent good humor and with a very good clean-up after they were finished. Highly recommended.
