DISHONEST
I have just had my ERA rim changed. I was quoted £50 for labour. They charged £59 when they came out. On the phone they did not mention that prices did not include VAT and again, this only materialised on presentation of an invoice. £145 + VAT just to change the FRONT of the ERA lock? Really? On the phone the company said prices start at £25 and go up for a 'more secure' lock. You did not say they jumped £125. The total came to £244. Dishonest. Unless I hear back from them - I did complain - I will never use again.

Jokers
I was told 30 minutes to arrive and let me in, 90 mins later the locksmith is still 'on his way', tried to charge me to cancel them, by this point I have hypothermia and called another local guy that came in ten minutes. Really disappointed with this company.

Double charge
Quick response. The guy knew the job, I already removed the lock so he had to just install another one. After he left I checked the price of the lock. It costed me £60 but in shop it is only £25!!! If you want to use this company, buy the lock before. You can save a lot this way.

New locks
Quickish response. Engineer knew what was required ( change locks) had all the parts. But the bill!!!! Wow! Shop Around. 2 locks £366.00

£59 call-out charge to leave me worse off
When the back-door lock jammed open I was told that all their locksmiths carried parts with them and would ensure my door was secure one way or the other. The polite chap arrived at 20:45 and was here all of 5 minutes when he realised the sashlock needed changing. The problem was, he had no replacements. He also had no bolts to secure the door overnight and when I turned down the option of a door-chain (which meant the back-door would be swinging open all night) he promptly whipped out the card machine and wrote me an invoice for £58.80. Basically, I was left worse than when I started and £60 lighter. AVOID. You'd be better off doing it yourself using YOUTUBE videos and the advice of staff in Wickes.

Absolutely Awful
After confirming that they would come out and fit locks on any cupboards, we couldn't have been more let down. The man they sent out was eye-wateringly rude - could barely string together a sentence and flat-out refused to do any of the work because he couldn't be bothered to go and get the right locks. Never ever use this service - they are an absolute joke and will only waste your time. We are genuinely stunned at the standard of service. Disgusting.

Complete rip off don't bother
Absolutely shocking - was quoted £59 callout plus parts then they wanted me to pay £85 callout plus £185 for the part plus vat - the part only costs £60! He then secured the door and wanted to charge another £60 for a single barrel that probably costs about £10 max. He then proceeded to put the door back to the way he found it leaving us in a position of paying £70 for nothing? Eventually agreed to leave the door secure but was not impressed that had to complain to get him to do this.

Perfect service
Our locksmith was friendly, professional, reassuring and wonderfully skilled. He arrived within 35 minutes and had fixed everything in 5 minutes!

Perfect Locksmith
I was having a problem with my car ignition key. The technician arrived in no time and fixed the key and gave me some duplicate keys.
