Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY
On telephoning the company they sounded professional. Website looks very good. The tradesman initially quoted over £300. He didn't have the part with him therefore he said he had to come back after the weekend. We refused to pay for the part especially when he couldn't fix the door there and then. We asked he just charge for what he had done so far. This was then £160. For this he has replaced the lock and has given us 3 new keys! so he obviously was just trying it on with the £300 quote then!!!!

Feeling Ripped off
Just paid over £400 for a lock change. The part itself, a UPVC yale mechanism, can be found on the internet for around £70. I have just parted with around £230 for the same part - part of the mark up according to customer services. I would not recommend this company on that basis. No issue with workmanship.

DONT USE THIS COMPANY
my father aged 75 with Alzeihmers was totally taken advantage of he charged £153. for changing a lock which key tek IN A RECORDED PHONE CALL admitted was working fine but because a man aged 76 thought it was sticking they changed it and charged 153.60 court action is being taken.

Avoid Keytek
Basic lock but apparantly they didnt have one so had to order it therefore allowing them to charge for 2 visits. Total cost exceeded £300 and to complete the misery a local tradesman later told me the old lock didnt even need replacing, it was only bent with a small broken spring and could have been easily repaired for around £60. I now see that mine and other poor reviews had been removed !

Super Job
Late last night I couldn't lock my back door. Found these guys on the internet and gave them a call. They came out to my property swiftly and sorted my door problem within about 40 minutes. The service was great seeing as I called late as well. The locksmith was friendly and knew exactly what he was doing. I will be keeping the number and using again (hopefully not as late at night)

Well Done and Thankyou
My faith in human nature has been restored! After being locked out with my young son and a boot full of shopping I called Keytek in a state of mild panic to help me get in. They were very sympathetic and professional on the phone and the engineer arrived in about 40 mins! He quickly got us into the house and even helped me get the shopping in! I don't normally bother with writing things like this but I was so impressed with the response from Keytek I felt they deserved 5 mins of my time. Well done and thanks once again.

I found that the locksmith that was sent out to me was highly professional, the service was great, he arrived quickly with no delay. The overall cost was good value for the service that was delivered to me. I would recommend this company to my friends and family.

Excellent
Had to call out a guy from Locks Local as an emergency yesterday. Lost my keys out in town and so couldn't get into my flat and obviously have the lock replaced for new keys. They arrived very quickly and the job was done and dusted in 45 mins. In my flat and new keys! Brilliant, cheers guys, will be keeping your number on my phone

Needed a locksmith to change the lock and make my garage secure as it is away from my property. Locksmith arrived on time, all work was completed within the hour and he made sure I was fully happy with his work before he left. Very pleased with the service.

No issue with guarantee
I used this company in December last year as my lock was not working on my PVC door, They were out in the time stated and had the door opened and the locked replaced in 40 minutes. When I went to open my door the week the snow was really bad i found that the lock was not working, I called them and they came out the same day and replaced it (free of charge?)
