I'm not a person to normally write negative reviews however feel it is my duty to share my experience of visiting the KI Day Spa and of the unpleasant outcome, to prevent others from going through the same ordeal. I attended the Spa in July for a facial my mother had booked us in for. My treatment was carried out by Marian, one of the Spa's Owners. I had originally been booked in for an Elemis facial tailored for my oily skin type. Marian asked me if I wanted Pampering or results from my facial to which I replied results but I was unaware of what I was 'consenting' to. Marian was very pushy encouraging me to opt for a Microdermabrasion facial instead insisting that this would most benefit my oily blemish prone skin. I was quite reluctant as my skin does tend to be quite sensitive, however Marian was incredibly persuasive and seemed to dismiss any concerns I had. Well, today is 8th December and my skin has still NOT healed from my facial. I have completed a month's course of antibiotics in September due to a skin infection & have since then been having Chemical Peels at The Spire Hospital, Manchester to help rectify the damage caused by to my face. My experience at this Spa caused me a huge amount of distress & anxiety - so much so that I am now in the process of seeking legal advice!

The exotic aroma of ginger & orchids take you into a retreat that matches any of the mainstream spas & you could easily be back in Thailand. Soothing music, barefoot therapist's, beautiful surroundings make it just sublime.
