Totally incompetent

What a waste of space this company is! Myself and 3 housemates have just used them to move into a property and their attitude, communication, and their idea of work is beyond bad. We had asked for the property to be redecorated and cleaned before moving in... this didn't happen. Apparently an agent had been into the property the day before we moved in and thought it livelable. I'm pretty sure if excrament is littered around a toilet, walls are dirty, grease is in a thick laer in the oven, and all rubbish from the previous tenants is still in the property, then it is not livebale for those about to move in. This by the way is to name just a few things that were wrong with the house. We came up with a list of 60 things. Kings needed to get references for us.. they waited so long we had to chase them up ourselves at extra cost. They also had forgotten that we were moving in until I called them to ask if our deposit and first months rent had cleared in their bank!!! We also called them when we arrived at the property, and asked for someone to come over. they denied they managed the property, said it was the landlords responsibility, and that it wasn't worthwhile coming over to see the house... Now i'm pretty sure if you've dealt with a move in (no matter how bad you have been), that you are managing the property... especially as half an hour before we had picked up the keys from them! Oh and we haven't had a check in yet 4 weeks after moving in. we've paid a £103 for this service! Needless to say an angry 10 page A4 letter was sent, to which the reply "we are sorry you have had trouble and we shall investigate further" has come back in the post. I'm not holding my breath!
