Lack of courtesy and possibly of good treatment

I only ever tried to be nice, but from the first call to inquire about an appointment, there was an oddly terse mood. The dentist seemed intelligent and polite, but some how I all of a sudden needed a whole lot of fillings since the last time I saw a dentist 6months before - maybe I needed them, maybe not - I don't know. But I never left the dentist feeling I had experienced any fond mannerisms (except from the dental hygienist there at the time). On top of this, later on... after phoning the practice to explain simple details concerning the latest condition of my teeth after treatment, and those details reaching the dentist - returning to the practice I found a subtle but distinct hostile attitude there, as if I was a thief that had been caught out trying to steal their money. I also experienced a streak of sadism at one stage resulting from this. Also the dental work seemed flawed, and on speaking to another dentists, this does seem to be the case. I would certainly go there with no one else available, but with other dentists available I will certainly never go there again. I'm sure this practice could be much worse, but I feel that there is a lack of treatment of patients as if they deserve much dignity, and possibly a lack of skill or even morals. I hope I'm wrong.
