About Us
Kitchen Specialists was established in 1993, by Alan Gibson, after working for 12 years as a cabinet maker for a prestigious kitchen company with an excellent reputation in North London. Alan thought it time to step out on his own as much of the top end of the market in London was slowing down, and wanted to branch out into the middle market whilst still keeping the standard of service high. Since being established and working in the Birmingham West Midlands
and Worcestershire area, we have earned a good name within the kitchen industry and have been as far as Hamburg in north Germany to fit a single kitchen.

We undertake the complete process of creating truly beautiful bespoke kitchens, from consultation and advice through the design, manufacture and installation stages. Appliances and work surfaces are ordered and fitted to your satisfaction.

Services
After many years working as a cabinet maker and kitchen fitter Alan now designs all of his kitchens on a computer with a good knowledge of your service needs, from size of appliances and storage to lighting.
He often says it's a number crunching exercise getting the design right, understanding space and symmetry.
As we don't have an expensive show room, Alan will always be glad to call round to you home for a free consultation, and design your kitchen plans with you on his computer as you are choosing kitchen colours and styles from door samples. A rough cost can always be indicated before leaving followed by a firm price quoted in writing.

As we don't have a showroom we don't have to charge the same as high street prices. Alan will bring samples to your home and design your kitchen on his first visit from a modern high gloss to traditional look.

Got in touch with Alan, who was happy to quote and fit the kitchen even though it was not his normal way of working. ( he normally designs / supplies and fits) His work was outstanding, paying attention to all details no matter how small. Kitchen was fitted quickly and efficiently. Alan is friendly and easy to get on with, nothing being to much trouble for him. Would happily use him again and highly recommend him to anyone else. Nice bloke and excellent work.
