I have been teaching for many years. With ages ranging from 17 to 62 years I have considerable expertise in all types of personalities, abilities and aptitudes. The result is that my pupils achieve a high level of first-time passes – this can be proven by DVSA pass-rate data.
My methods are straightforward. I teach with a high level of professionalism. Your passes matter to me – the more first-time passes the better as these enhance my reputation. I do not need to advertise intensively: my reputation and word-of-mouth recommendations fill my diary pages without the need for discount fish & hook tactics.
Lessons are tailored to your requirements within a pupil-led learning curriculum based on your quickness to learn, capability to understand and transfer this new knowledge into practice.
I teach in Peterborough because it gives my pupils a wide variety of challenging urban driving situations as opposed to more limited experience in small towns. This opinion has been reached by listening to pupils who started out learning in such small towns. Therefore pupils travel into Peterborough from surrounding towns.
Many years of experience, backed by pupil requests, have taught me that weekly one hour lessons are inadequate for proper learning on many levels. Instead my minimum lesson duration is 90 minutes and many pupils prefer two hours, once or more often per week.
The teaching – learning process is a 50:50 partnership.
