Ripping the customer
I had to do MOT & service my Car at Budget Exhausts and Tyres, Aberdeen about 10 days ago. The mechanic said the front ball joint suspension is having too much play and have to be replaced and told me that it will cost me £175.00 and I had no other option but to agree for it as MOT was a failure. Then when I got the bill I was surprised to see that It was noT itemised ( breakdown OF THE PRICE.) I checked the price of the part at local spare parts shop and found out that it would have cost me only £53.95 . And the maximum time it will take to fix it is an hour!!!!!!!!!!! So the garage charged me 125.00 for labour . An hour's work costed me £125.00/-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable
