Heart Breaking Experience
This was supposed to be my dream garden. I had my garden turfed, re-fenced & decking added and I unfortunately chose LYG to do the work. Like a few similar reviews I’ve read on here, Justin came across polite and professional when we first met and I put every bit of trust in him. The fence went up but it wasn’t straight and therefore I was asked by Justin to pay to have new concrete posts put in as the ones added would have to be broken. The fence alone took 2 weeks to do. I made the mistake by not agreeing a completion date. The turf laid was laid before the ground was levelled. I have an uneven lawn now. The decking boards were laid but uneven and a number were a trip hazard. Justin blamed his staff whenever I raised an issue and laughed it off. He said he would sort out any issues himself but when he did he didn’t do it with any care or attention. I am emotional drained from the whole experience with many nights in tears. If this review helps someone to avoid LYG then at least some good has come from this.

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Please avoid at all costs. Agreed with Justin (owner) on a price and timeframe of two weeks to carry out the work. Progress was extremely slow and the quality of work was extremely poor. After every bit of progress I had to contact Justin and tell him to fix it as it wasn’t right. This was an on-going battle with him. The workers would work a couple of hours and then leave to work on another job. 10 weeks later and the work is still not done. Justin asked for the balance to be paid and with just over a days worth of work left I gave it to him on the basis that he’d be back the following day to finish the job. 2 weeks later and I’m still waiting. He’s ignoring my calls & text message. There is no other word to describe him, he is a Cowboy Landscaper. I will of course be taking action. So if you want to spend £6000 on an unfinished & extremely poor finished garden job then Justin is your guy.
