To all who are thinking of using Lammys independent trading co , think twice ! Good price and nice guy to talk to , can tell a good story about how wonderful the work will look when finished . Mine hasn't been finished . He has left me with damaged tiles on the roof , lead flashing is falling off the roof after 4 weeks , he installed a damaged window , even though he knew it was damaged . The guttering runs the wrong way , brickwork not level or finished . Plasterboard / latex flooring / pointing all not finished . He has built a step over the drainage pipe so cant connect the downpipe . He used my garden as a dumping ground , so I had to hire my own skip . Most of the work is not done to basic building regulations . He kept asking for payments saying the job would not be able to continue . Now there is not enough money left to finish the job . I had to pay far more than I wanted to ju7st so they could work day to day , I wanted to hold back some until the job was finished . I have now been told that Lammys independent trading is no longer trading . If after this you do hire him, get the indemnity up front and check out the public liability insurance before you pay your deposit . YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
