Landkind provides a range of vegetation management services including weed control, tree surgery, grass cutting and various other associated activities. We strive to take an honest approach and to provide a friendly, reliable service to private and commercial clients in Hampshire and the surrounding counties.

Our Services

We can help solve all your property ground care issues, saving you money and labour whilst at the same time often enhancing the natural environment. All work will be carried out by personnel holding the relevant NPTC qualification for the tasks with which they are involved and key staff will be CRB checked for the customers peace of mind.

Areas of Service

Landkind are based in Hampshire and operate throughout the county as well as the adjacent counties of West Sussex, Wiltshire and Dorset. Prior to undertaking any work Landkind will make available if requested, risk assessments, product data sheets, method statements, health and safety policy, NPTC certification and public liability insurance. Records of any chemical applications will be maintained and made available on request.

Weed Control

Landkind provides specialist weed control services on commercial property, amenity land and highways as well as to private residential customers. Within the commercial and utility property environments chemical weed control is a quick, economic and effective method of maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring property damage is minimised.
Weeds grow prolifically around the fence lines, approaches and in the car parks of many commercial properties. Maintaining a property free from weeds will not only reduce costly damage to hard surfaces but also enhance its ‘kerb appeal'. We can provide one off treatments or bespoke annual weed control contracts using the most appropriate and environmentally acceptable products and application techniques. Landkind can undertake any commercial vegetation management project and we are experienced in applying sprays in sensitive areas such as power stations, gas holders and electrical sub stations. We can provide a total service from site survey to clearance of vegetation and implementation of a herbicide control program to prevent weeds from returning.

Grounds Maintenance

Landkind aims to provide a grounds maintenance service that is responsive to seasonal weather and growing conditions in order to maintain a landscape that is functional and complementary to the business activity and local environment.
We provide services to clients with property ranging from just a few hundred square metres to many hectares and comprising offices, factories, distribution and utility sites. We can undertake anything from large vegetation clearance projects to the regular maintenance of high profile office grounds, schools or local authority sites. We currently undertake large area grass cutting, hedge cutting, shrub pruning, weed control, tree work, litter picking and scrub clearance. Our services, will be carried out to the highest professional standard by NPTC qualified personnel. Landkind is a registered waste carrier and we have full public liability insurance cover to £5 million and employers liability insurance to £10 million.

Tree Surgery

Landkind offers the following tree surgery services to domestic and commercial customers within the Southampton, Fareham and Portsmouth area: Hedge Management – regular trimming, height reduction and restoration. Garden and Fruit tree pruning. Tree Surgery – tree felling, sectional dismantling, crown lifts, dead-wooding. Tree stump removal
Brushwood chipper service. New and replacement tree planting schemes. Obtaining planning consent for work on trees in Conservation Areas and those covered by Tree Preservation Orders.
