The hotel is an impressive victorian country house which was built in the 1830`s by Sir William Ogilvy who chose Loyal Hill as the site for his country house on his return from Waterloo. Transformed into one of the most revered Country House Hotels in 1945 the Lands of Loyal Hotel offers a tranquil haven of calm and relaxation in a hectic world as well as holding many fond memories for all our guests who visit year on year.

The accommodation offered by The Lands Of Loyal Hotel is individually and tastefully designed and comes with its own unique character and sense of style. each of our 14 guest rooms enjoys an en suite bath or shower, satellite television, tea and coffee making facilities and private telephone. The hotel can accommodate upto 32 guests at any one time in a choice of either single, twin, double or family rooms. As well as the lavish luxury of the accommodation our guests can also enjoy some of Scotlands most beautiful countryside "Alyth Hill" runs to 966 foot above sea level. From the summit, you will experience spectacular views to Fife, Perth's Kinnoull Hill, across Perthshire to Ben Lawers and Schiehallion. The Grampians can be seen to the north and, in the foreground, look past Alyth town to the golf courses at Glenisla, Alyth and Strathmore.
