Hi, my name is Lee Brookes, I am a Drumming instructor based in Nottingham. I have been drumming for around 30 years and teaching for 10 years. I have performed and recorded with many bands over the years of varying styles and have recently returned from a tour of the East Coast USA. Now I am back I am taking on new students, so if you would like to learn the drums in a relaxed friendly atmosphere then look no further. Beginning anything new can be a daunting experience but as you do not have to follow an academic syllabus then you are in control of what you wish to learn to achieve your drumming goals. Drum grades 1 to 8 are available to you if you wish to take them, but you may just want to learn a particular style or play for fun! It’s your decision. Over the years I have developed a fun approach to drum set tuition and the longevity of my students proves it. Most students achieve grade 4 and higher and take lessons for several years.

Specialist Services

Tuition usually takes place evenings and weekends, but daytime lessons are possible. The cost of tuition is £11 per half hour. Lessons are booked in 1 hour or half hour slots. Everything for your lesson is provided, but feel free to bring your own sticks.
