The National average pass rate is 43%. Before choosing a driving Instructor ask the following questions, are they fully qualified and not trainees and how long have they been an Instructor, ask what their average pass rate is and what are their current prices (remember cheap lessons are not always the best value) All driving Instructors are graded 1 to 6 by the D S A ,but must reach 4 or above to stay on the DSA Register, grade 4 is adequate, grade 5 is good and grade 6 is very good.
