Lee's Hairdressers

Unfortunately not exactly a good experience and won't be returning again! Went in to get a number one all over, the lady doing it was very flippant and sarcastic. I asked if she could go across the neckline with the trimmer she was using, she gave me a very curt look and told me that they didn't do necklines but did it nonetheless begrudgingly (other barbers do this as standard practice so not sure what the issue was). At the end I asked if she wouldn’t mind going over with the hairdryer to get rid of the bits of hair (again which is what other barbers shops do) and she told me I was “high maintenance”, said that she should be charging extra for this. Decided not to cause a scene and laughed it off – on the way out I’d decided there is no way I’d be returning again. I got home and looked in the mirror and there were patches all over my head which she’d missed with the trimmer so I phoned up the shop and asked to speak to the manager. Person on the phone told me that the manager wasn’t in today so I explained what the complaint was about. She told me that the lady in question that had done my hair was Albanian and I suggested that perhaps this lady should have been focusing on the job in hand instead of chattering away with other people in the shop and seriously needed an attitude adjustment especially when dealing with customers! What she needs to bear in mind that people that come into get their hair cut are the ones that are paying her salary and she could do well to remember that in future!! To be honest there are 5-6 barber shops in Dartford town center, the majority of them are Turkish and you may have to pay one or two pounds extra but you’ll be spoken to and treated with respect and they provide a good level of customer service (not to mention a decent haircut) which unfortunately you won’t get from Lee’s Hairdressers in Dartford!!!
