I was referred to Lemon and Co by word of mouth. My experience with them: - Don't expect useful advice or options. They will ask you what you would like to do and formalize it using their legal jargon. They will explain to you the legal process, that's about it. - Impersonal service. Expect a lot of standard impersonal letters which they will charge you for. - Their hourly rates are similar to other law firms but they will charge you for many unnecessary things. For instance, asking for a copy of a letter by email is 20 pounds. A one liner response to a query by email is 28 pounds. If you ask them to resend you an email that you either lost or didn't receive they will also charge you. - They do things in the old fashioned way. My counterpart's solicitor is next door, and Lemon and Co never had the desire or intention to arrange a face-to-face meeting or discuss matters over a coffee...etc. In summary their model is to document and write down everything possible and charge for it with no desire or motivation to reach your case into a conclusion.
