AWFUL SERVICE
I would NOT EVER recommend this shop to anyone... EVER ! Leslie hatcher is the most arrogant man I have met. I unfortunately have had to postpone my wedding after buying a dress form him, I have paid a deposit and a couple hundred extra on a monthly price plan. The only thing I have signed which I took to the shop with me said I will lose a deposit which I was willing to do, I am now being forced to pay the full amount and take the dress inDONT want due to the circumstances home. When discussing this, I have been called a liar as I was told I could not take it home till jan next year by one member of staff and June this year by another. I have now been told I'm lying about this. I DEFINATELY AM NOT, I will get not gain out of this. As well as this my mother has received extremely rude emails saying she will never be a customer of his as well as telling her his past occupation (raf pilot-unreal and also was made aware of his wife's occupancy again unrelevant) I am sad to say that this has ruined my experience dress shopping and has given me the thought that it is too stressful so I will be buying my dress from a private seller.

Dont touch with a barge pole
I have recieved terrible customer service from Leslie Hatcher and would advice brides not to touch it with a barge pole. The managering director is the rudest man I have ever met ( and being a teacher I have met a few trust me). I was promised several dates for my dress adm after calling to chase up was spoken to extremely rudely and when I entered the store to chase up was shouted and ranted at which left me leaving the store in tears. I have finally recieved my dress with 8 weeks to go amd decided not to use them for my alterations due to the poor service. I cannot fault the ladies upstairs and i agree with the first review and they did make me feel very special. It is just a shame that the manager does not share their level of customer service for someone who has been in the business for 30 years he really doesn't undersand his customers and business at all.

Will NOT be returning
I went in for an appointment to try only ONE dress on. The dress wasn't ready for me and i had phoned up to pre book in and make sure they had it in stock. Staff seemed stuck up and rude when i said i didn't have a date set, and only wanted to try one dress. I took both my mother and mother-in-law to be and they felt the same. I will not be returning to purchase the dress i tried on, even though it is perfect!!! would much rather purchase from a friendly place.

be careful
Be careful if you are going to use Leslie Hatcher Swindon...We were married abroad and paid full amount early on aporox 1600.00, and we were flying out on obviously a set date as had to be abroad 7 days before the ceremony and my dress wasn't ready! I was offered an ill fitting shop floor dress I had tried on when I chose the design weeks before. I was given no discount and mr hatcher turned very defensive and nasty when we argued that a shop floor slightly damaged (small hole) dress was not good enough. I'm sure they are fine when things go right but if they go wrong!!?? I took the shop floor dress, had it urgently adjusted and had to fly out next day. That dress was never as special as it should have been. If we didn't have a death in the family at the same time we would have taken the company to court.

Great Service
I bought my wedding dress from china and needed it to be altered to my size. I contacted Leslie Hatcher's shop by recommendation and they booked me in for a fitting. I was delighted by their service. They made me feel like I'd bought the dress in their shop and they charged me less than £100 for all the work. Super!

I recommend this shop
I bought my wedding dress in January in the sale and I am very please with the quality of service I received from the staff. I paid 50% off the price which made the price of the dress below £400. The dress was brand new. I booked the first fitting at the end of february and was very well looked after by the seamstress and the rest of the staff. Nice atmosphere. Thank you
