Approach
I believe that simplicity is key to effective visual communication and that graphic design requires a simplistic yet intelligent approach to achieve this. My less is more style is well considered, clean and coherent to allow the design to be as effective as possible and to solve the problem it was intended to do.
Background and Education
In 2003 I attended the BTEC Foundation course at the Kent Institute of Art and Design. The course allowed me to try every discipline of art and design before focusing on my chosen field, graphic design. After leaving KIAD with a distinction I started the degree on the graphic design course at the University of Brighton. Whilst at the University I gained a wealth of knowledge in typography, composition and visual balance. It was not long before I found my simplistic and minimalistic design style.
I have since worked with a number of local businesses as well as larger international companies to enable them to progress as strong pioneering brands.
