Helping disabled people to be more independent
Lewisham Shopmobility helps to improve the quality of life for people with impaired mobility by the provision of mobility scooters, powered chairs, wheelchairs and wheelchair escorts, enabling them to use the facilities of Lewisham Town Centre. A longer-term hire scheme provides wheelchairs for people to use from home. There is a charge for the service but fees are kept low to be affordable to all.
