Fun and high quality acting, singing and dance classes for 4 - 19 year olds.

We follow the unique LIPA performing arts curriculum for children and young people covering musical theatre, modern, pop, contemporary. We aim to have fun while developing a range of skills including team work, presentation, confidence and respect for others. We are open to all abilities and can offer accredited exams for those who would like to take them.

Lessons are held at Applemore College on Saturday mornings during term times from 10.00 - 1.15 p.m.

Early Starts (4 - 6 year olds)
Follow an integrated session of acting, singing and dance for one and a half hours

Academy (7 - 16)
One hour of each discipline.

All our teachers have strong backgrounds in their performing art discipline and are CRB/DBS checked and trained in the LIPA curriculum.

The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA)

LIPA 4:19 New Forest/Southampton is the only theatre school that is affiliated to a performing arts institute - The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, co founder Sir Paul McCartney. LIPA offers complete performing arts courses undergraduate and postgraduate aswell as its 4:19 Performing Arts Academies for children and young people.

LIPA has a very high reputation in the performing arts world and as such we are contacted regularly for casting opportunities in professional shows. Some of our children are interested in these opportunities and we support them fully if they wish to audition.

We provide the children with opportunities to perform and build up to a grand end of year performance where every child gets the opportunity to show what they have learnt. This year will be at Applemore College on 12/7/14.

Free Taster Sessions!

Fancy learning acting, singing and dance but want to have a try out first? No problem! Most of our pupils have had a free taster session and then joined. Come and try us out, have fun and make new friends. Contact us now to book your session.

Holiday Schemes

Come and have fun during the summer holiday and learn more about musical theatre. From 26/08/2014 - 29/08/2014 we are running a Show in a Week of acting, singing, dance and practical workshops and at the end we put on a presentation to parents and friends. A great way to spend your summer holiday.
4 - 6 year olds 10.00 - 12.00 £50 per child per week
7 - 15 year olds 9.00 - 3.30 p.m. £150 per child per week
