Poor quality rubbish
Expectations are at rock bottom when you enter a Little Chef, but when these are unfulfilled you know you are in trouble. The Latte coffee was a sickly sweet concoction of syrup that came from some machine. The burger was dry as an old boot and covered in some E numbers parading themselves as relish. The service was automated but pleasant though quite slow, but it should always be rememebered that you can't polish a turd. we did get a reduction in our bill on the basis that we "hadn't enjoyed it". By this criterion it is hard to imagine that anyone ever needs to pay full price.
