The cheapest bar in the Theatre District but busy!
As one of the four Wetherspoons owned bars located in Central Milton Keynes (The others being The Secklow Hundred, Wetherspoons (near the train station) and The Moon Under Water) this is located right in the middle of the Theatre District where the majority of Milton Keynes' bars are located.During the week this is a nice place to visit for a drink although the food can be a bit hit and miss especially compared to the other Wetherspoons in the area. Also the lighting can be very poor!If you're looking for a night out where there is no entrance fee, drinks are reasonably priced, a dancefloor and a good mix of music (think chart music and modern classics) then this is the place. However this does come at a price....On Friday and Saturday nights the place is packed! It can be very hard to get served during these busy periods and from about 9-10pm onwards there is always a queue to get in.

Lloyds No.1 is a Wetherspoon's bar offering the usual fare of pub food and cheap drinks. However it differs from other Wetherspoons in the surrounding area as it is also a nightclub. During the week it offers quiz nights and sports screenings. It is most busy, however on Friday and Saturday nights. It is mostly frequented by under 25s but older people would not feel too out of place. Lloyds offers a reasonably sized dancefloor with a giant mirrorball and plays mostly contemporary chart music as well as classic dance music. It is a very popular destination as it is free to get in, whereas most other nearby clubs charge quite high entrance fees. It is certainly not the most luxurious destination but offers a lively, cheap night out.
