I think it is very disgraceful how you can't let your customers know that they are going to get charged if they don't cover the costs of their direct debits. If there is not enough money in the account then you should inform the customer that it will leave them overdrawn or bank charges where as I never got told either of them and have been left with £200 bank charges. I have a child on the way and don't need to be left without any money.
