Worst ever
Had them in to fit kitchen and bathrooms. Disaster from the the beginning, started in February and still not finished. Self closing cupboards never worked, so had to buy handles. All work to terrible standards

Start to everything one big hassle Kitchen doors does not fit leaking sink worktop not on properly Tried to fix 3 times

Bunch of clowns
Be very wary of Lochside. Lovely showroom and promise you the earth at the start. The workmen my mother in law got were pretty shocking - plumber was awful and joinery was not all that good either at times. They were careless and left things unfinished. They failed to order quite a few things, so a simple bathroom which was promised in 1 week, took over 2 months before finished - lots of niggly faults too. Trying to get them to come back to fix the faults was a complete nightmare - kept phoning the office to be fobbed off and the office manageress (receptionist) was snotty, officious, obnoxious, unhelpful and had no customer skills at all. If you have a good experience with this lot, you've done well!!! I sympathise with the other comments regarding the lack of quality work and poor customer care. Lochside left my family feeling very bitter, as on the face of it the company present themselves very well but threatened legal action when we tried to withhold a small part-payment until the work was completed satisfactorily. Be warned!!!

Do not use - absolute cowboys
I was ignorant of prices and did not realise they were ripping me off until I spoke to other tradesmen. The standard of workmanship is absolutely terrible. My kitchen seems to fall apart a bit more every day. I seriously advise against using Lochside for any work as they will rip you off. In the words of Red Adair "if you think its expensive hiring a professional try hiring an amateur". Lochside are amateurs. I'm absolutely astounded they seem to have any good reviews here.

Don't Touch Them With a Barge Pole
The customer "care" from this bunch is absolutely terrible. Our kitchen seemed to fall apart just as the warranty period expired. Then, guess what as soon as your warranty is up then it's a nice price for them to come out and fix it. We wanted them to tell us how to do it ourselves but no way, it was a call out plus vat. The sales manager was extremely abrasive and very very rude to me. STEER WELL CLEAR....

Bathrooms/Bedrooms
We would like to thank you all for transforming our bathrooms / bedrooms with the least disruption to our house hold. At each point of contact we found everyone to be helpful and a pleasure to have had work with us. Thank you.

Cowboys
Very expensive kitchen purchased with solid surface worktops. Total disaster. Terrible customer care, Installation Manager actually tried to con us by saying he had replaced 2 damaged gloss doors when in fact he had just turned them upside down and hoped we wouldn't notice. Never get back to you regarding problems, guys leave a terrible mess. No care or respect for your home. Workmanship is of a terribly low standard. Showroom Manageress very incompetent, arrogant and does not even have the decency to reply to emails. 12 months on and the only way to sort these cowboys out would be too seek legal assistance!! Are no longer at Bridge of Don, showroom is now situated on Greenwell Road, East Tullos. I have to leave at least 1 star as no choice but obviously they deserve minus stars!! | Report this

New lighting
Had one of there electricians over to install lights in my living room, kitchen and hall way ,they did a wounder full job no mess left, great job.

Bathroom
Lochside did a grand job installing my new bathroom, bought my own stuff and had them fit it , no problems quick service cleaned up after themselfs. ++ service

kitchen/boiler
had a few quotes from different firms.went with lochside for they could do both jobs needed.everything went very well,the workers cleaned up after themselves and even did jobs i did not expect them to.i am very pleased with the finished product and would recomend them to anyone i have to all my family

Lochside Installations
Lochside Installations did a wounderfull job fitting my kitchen form the planning to the installation. From design to finish fitted kitchen it only took 10 day fast service great quility units. Highly recommend, will get them back to do my bathroom.

Bathroom in Aberdeen
Lochside Installations were the roughest workers i have ever had in my home. The work was so poor and such a mess was left behind that we had to get the work checked elsewhere by proffesionals. As far as the gaswork is concerned Corgi had not even been told the work had been done so couldnt issue a final certificate. Corgi rejected the gaswork as being not up to standard. Still waiting for other work to be sorted out. Much work was in the quotation and we paid for it but it simply was not done. The actual shower unit they installed was done 3 times by them and leaked every time. Eventually they got a decent company to do it properly and it seems to be ok now. Trying to get in touch with the company after paying the money is next to impossible so be warned!
