After purchasing 3 items of furniture from this company I was told be email that delivery would be 4 weeks. After the 4 weeks I basically went through an ordeal with them where every week there was another excuse but the furniture would be in the following week. Diane on the customer care line had no concept of customer care and constantly came out with excuses. It was stuck in customs, it couldn't fit on the van. When I finally got a delivery date, Diane got a member of staff from the delivery firm, Freigh4U, to contact me and guarantee it. Come delivery day and I contacted Freight4U to double check and they didn't want to know. No body at Lodge was answering the phone or emails and I've basically had £1000 taken from me with no furniture to show for it and I am now having to pursue them through the courts. From other reviews I am not the only one that they have done this to and there seems to be occurrences of this in previous company's the directors have been in charge of. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If you have been a victim of this company please report them to trading standards as I have, it will all add to the case against them.
