A spacious guestroom with king sized bed and an adjacent private bathroom, making our guests the only people on that floor. Breakfast is composed of our own eggs and local produce. Yours hosts Neil and Kathy Arnold, left their suburban lives behind to move to Buckland St Mary in January 2010. They moved away from noise, people, pollution, motorways and a major airport to start a life in the country, with the intention of renovating our house and starting a B&B. Lodge House dates back to the 1750's but has been modernised to a high standard yet retains charming period features.



Kathy is a qualified complementary therapist who offers Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Hopi Ear Candles and Aromatherapy Massage treatments, to help you relax on your break. Therapeutic breaks are also available.



We offer a full English breakfast each morning, with a vegetarian and light option, using local produce where possible, free range eggs from our own hens, honey from our bees, and home made preserves from our fruit trees and bushes when available. The large south-facing, comfortable first floor guest bedroom, with its antique furniture and modern touches is ready to embrace the individual who is looking for peace and quiet, or the more adventurous person who likes to be active such as walkers and cyclists. The bedroom has a king sized bed for 2 adults.(travel cot for a baby also available). Adjacent is a private bathroom that has recently been refurbished to a high specification. As guests you will be the only people on that landing.
