Approximately 1 mile away is the famous medieval bridge at Potter Heigham which spans the river Thurne and the well known store of Lathams which sells all manner of fishing tackle amongst other things. During the long summer days Potter Heigham is a bustling place where you can hire a boat for the day and go sailing and explore the Norfolk Broads.
