Thanks for nothing

I would rate 0 stars if possible as 1 is far too generous. Lucy refused to honour a gift voucher which expired during the first lockdown. I bought the voucher after a conversation I had with Lucy about my partner's medical condition, which has made it impossible for her to book the treatment till now (as well as Lucy not being open for business for the duration of the arbitrary 6 month validity period.) I hoped for more understanding / flexibility given the circumstances, but Lucy is within her rights to rigidly enforce the terms and conditions. What's far worse though is that when I called to explain the situation, Lucy was incredibly rude and patronising, insinuated my partner was stupid and mockingly imitated her with a silly voice. I'd hoped for my partner to become a regular customer, Lucy preferred to pocket the cash and insult us. Funnily enough, before I gave Lucy money she was very helpful and pleasant. Based on my last conversation with her though, I wouldn't even want my partner going for what's supposed to be a relaxing treatment with someone like Lucy, even if it was free.
