Where it all Began
Founded by Director Mary Luff in 1993, her sole intent was to set up a company that specialised in the Let and Management of quality residential properties. Luff Associates extensive portfolio now covers the complete property range and we currently let and manage over 800 properties, ranging from studio apartments to more substantial and palatial country homes, located within the Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire borders.
We pride ourselves on offering homes that are well maintained either by ourselves or by our landlords to equally discerning tenants. It is no surprise to learn that over 95% of new instructions that Luff Associates receive are from existing landlord and tenant recommendations!
Operating in Camberley, Surrey with professional staff which have over 60 years combined experience within the property field, Luff Associates are able to guarantee a personalised service tailored to meet their clients individual needs and requirements.

Before a tenancy is agreed all Luff Associates applicants are very carefully screened to determine their suitability as a tenant and their ability to meet the requirements of the Tenancy Agreement. However events can occur in the future that alter a tenants circumstances and occasionally problems can arise.
Previously unforeseen difficulties such as illness or redundancy can lead to a tenant failing to pay the rent.

Lack of communication
This estate agents is the worst i have dealt with . Paid a deposit to hold a property and they gave it to someone else a day later because i had not returned my form in 2 days and then starting making other excuses. That was the second incident with them and i advise not to go there.

Unprofessional and terrible communication!
In line with other reviews on the web, Luff Associates (now called Luff-Wilkin) have some serious communication issues including logistics (being able to actually return calls and emails) and capability to communicate professionally. While their Client facing staff come over courteous and professional, some of the management seem unable to communicate professionally. I recommend that they are avoided; having an issue such as this with a company you are trying to rent from is one thing, but having this issue with a company that manages your property (or the one you are renting) is just asking for headache. Frequent and clear communication between tenant and landlord is necessary for the smooth maintenance of properties. Some background: I attempted to contact Luffs to view a property of interest and as many other reviewers found, they did not return calls or email communications even though I was assured by one member of staff that he would "personally make sure" that my call was returned. I initiated a positively constructive complaint to their managers/directors and initially received a positive and prompt response. This was then not appropriately followed up and after several email exchanges with their director, I wrote off the effort because it became clear that their director was (while prompt to respond) not able to maintain professional discussions relating to this matter and appeared disinterested in improving the situation. During my efforts to communicate this problem with Luffs I was told that they would get back to me resolving the matter early in the week, this did not happen and when the point was raised once more I was told not to "accuse my negotiators of not getting back to you which is unacceptable". In all of my exchanges I had been true to fact and professional in delivery, yet I was told that "you seem to have a problem communicating with a professional company" which I found amusing given the reason for contact in the first place. The tone of the email discussions from Luffs was very defensive and unprofessional; since this was an email from their director it became clear that the issues experienced at Customer facing level were actually cultural within the company hence my recommendation to avoid Luffs.

Breath of fresh air
I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to this time. I have just rented a property through this company and found them to be far more professional than most of the other agents I was looking through. I was always kept up to date with available properties and the whole procedure was made easy. Thank you Luff Associates.
