Avoid

I hired Macoun Properties Ltd (Mr Richard Weir is currently the sole Director) to carry out some drainage and patio work to my property. I formed the opinion that the workmanship was very poor and some of the materials used were not fit for their purpose. I made the mistake of paying 50% up front. Mr Weir refused to provide a partial refund after I asked them to leave the site. I started a legal claim against Macoun Properties Ltd to prevent him profiting. After an independent expert's report was written for the court Mr Weir of Macoun Properties decided to settle the claim out of court. A shocking aspect of the claim was what I believed to be disgraceful lies that Mr Weir submitted to the expert and the court in an attempt to win the claim. I'm happy to report he failed. To my horror Mr Weir is now gas safe registered.
