Awful!
Booked this with groupon an wish I read this website first and not bothered. Firstly, I was waiting for at least 20 mins for her to start cutting my hair and she wasn't with anyone else just on the phone! She then discussed with me what I wanted and I was really happy and confident for her to cut my hair. I was going out that night she asked if I wanted it blown wavy (its usually straight) and I agreed. I left the salon really happy. However, I have since washed my hair and it's awful. The layers are all different. One side it nice, the other side just looks like a wedge has been cut and the back looks like I've got a big bit of hair missing. I am so upset about it and think they must rely on groupon for custom. She actually spent about 5 mins cutting my hair. I now have to go and find another hairdresser to rectify this as there is no way I would let them near my hair. Thank god it's long enough to tie back!

Wow!
After reading a review on here I was very worried about going to this hairdressers. I can not comment on the bad review as I do not know the situation but my experience at Marmalade was really great! Lucy coloured my hair and Claire cut it, they were both fiendly and made me feel at ease! I am so pleased with the result and would recommend this hairdressers. I look forward to my next appointment!

Amazing!!!!
Only bad thing I've got to say is they took ages getting my coffee!! However not what I went for. Am nervous going to a hairdressers and they made me feel at ease straight away with Girly banter! Very professional approach to my hair with a lengthy conversation as to what I wanted. Love my hair and will definitely be going back

Worst salon ever!!
I NEVER write reviews but after my experience I have to warn you. I booked in with groupon voucher and asked for somebody experienced as I fancied a change and wanted advice. I got the junior and asked for blonde highlights with a dark brown with a red tone as opposed to a black tone. He washed it off and the other stylist cut my hair, i was horrified as it was being dried, my hair was bright pink with no blonde! I was devasted. They told me don't panic we'll sort it. They applied highlights and tint and started to dry it. It was now brown with thick bright red stripes but not a nice shade of red, you could tell it had gone wrong. I told them I still wasn't happy so they put more colour on it and no change. I was mortified, 6 hours later and almost 10pm I was asked to return to the salon for further highlights. I was then taken to the till with disgusting hair and charged for a cut and tint which was £10 less than the highlights I'd orinally asked for. I was knackered and upset and just paid coz I wanted to get out of there. I returned for my 4pm appointment and was still sat there at 4:30 and my stylist got the person next to me an sat her down and started doing her highlights without even acknowledging me. I was fuming and politely asked how long I might be sat there, the girl said about 30 mins so I said you could of rang me or acknowledged me, she went in the back an got the manager. The manager came over, said she didn't like my attitude and gave me £20 and asked me to leave. The next day i washed it, it felt ruined and the cut was ribbish. She spent about 2 minutes cutting it and that was it. She asked me if it was alright at the time but I told her I couldn't tell as it was a mess!! I was furious and gave her a piece of my mind, she told me, I asked for red so I said how would you know when you wasn't even there, I was with the junior! I told her she is a stuck up cow and she has the bad attitude and won't last 5 minutes in this small village where we all know each other. I think they rely on groupon and offers do don't actually have any loyal customers. It was christnas and my hair was ruined. Another salon i visited told me all they needed to do is bleach the pink out. I don't even think they are qualified, apparently this is basic hairdresser knowledge. I hope you have read this in time and save your hair from getting ruined!!

BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE GOING - I HAVE TO LIVE WITH A DISASTER UNTIL IT GROWS AGAIN!!!
I went on a Groupon voucher - in the hope I would get a new look as I was fed up of my hair being the same! I had fairly short hair and told them I did NOT want it much shorter however....I was left looking ridiculous and have been so upset I have restricted my contacts with others. The hairdresser did not listen to me the floor was full of cut hair and left there, the mirrors filthy and I really should have left and run as now will be at least 8 weeks until I look half decent again - it is the WORSE CUT I have had for many a year!!
