HOLISTIC THERAPY COURSES
Massage Courses 4 U, International Massage Training have been providing training in Holistic Therapies and Massage since 1991.

Founded in Derby,UK, we continue to offer up to date training, with our tutors continually expanding on their skills. All hold UK Adult education teaching certificates/diplomas.

Our administration office is based in Derby,UK, whilst our tutors fly out to several destinations several times a year, Dubai being our most popular and busiest location with courses being delivered approximately ten times throughout the calender year.

We offer Holistic Therapy and Massage courses and qualifications through the Complementary Medical Association (UK). Our advanced and post-graduate courses are accredited with both the CMA and the Independent Professional Therapists International (UK). Whilst the Anatomy and Physiology courses are with both the Vocational Training Charitable Trust(UK) and the Independent Therapists Education Council (UK). Students have the option to upgrade to NVQ status after successful completion.

Group sizes are kept below ten in order to keep the course informal & friendly and ensure individual attention.

HOLISTIC THERAPY QUALIFICATIONS
Our holistic therapy qualifications are widely acceptable, allowing students membership to professional bodies, and are fully insurable within the UK.
We strongly advice prospective students to enquire regarding licencing requirements and insurance in the country / area they intend to work in, BEFORE attending a course.
We cannot offer advice on requirements ourselves, as this varies from state to state, country to country.

Introduction to Basic Massage 1 day workshop

During the workshop, you will learn the contra-indications,(when not to massage)and the basic strokes so you can massage friends and family with confidence and whilst taking care of your own body. Always fun, these invaluable workshops give a great basis for massage even if you never attend another course! Be prepared to give and receive lots of massage, why not book with a friend? This workshop runs 10.00am-5pm

Swedish Massage 3 day qualification course.

This Swedish body massage practitioner training course (also known as Holistic Massage) covers everything you need to safely and professionally conduct a therapy in full body massage.

This is a three day certificate course starting at 10am and finishing 5pm It combines basic related history, theory, anatomy and physiology and all of the practical skills you will need to deliver a full body massage treatment.

With this Certificate, you can gain professional therapist insurance (UK) and offer treatments to the public.

This course is ideal if you wish be a self-employed or mobile therapist.

Indian Head Massage 2 day qualification course.

This 2 day Indian Head Massage Certificate course will teach you how to safely and effectively give a stress-busting massage to the neck, shoulders, scalp and face. Indian Head Massage is an extremely effective therapy that has evolved from traditional techniques practised in India as part of family rituals for over a thousand years. The technique taught by us is true to the original massage brought over to the UK from India.

The treatment involves massage through the clothes to the upper back, shoulders, upper arms, neck, face and scalp, with the client remaining seated in an upright position. This massage works on particular areas of the body, especially the neck and the shoulders where stress affects major muscle groups, and it often brings immediate relief. Tensions are eased and fibrous knots and nodules melt away. The efficiency of the circulatory and lymphatic systems improves, toxins are dispersed from tense muscles and flexibility and fluidity of movement is restored. 10.30am to 5.00pm daily

Thai Foot Massage 1 day course/workshop

This course is open to beginners and therapists.
We are very pleased to be one of the only schools in the UK to offer a traditional Thai Foot Massage Course developed by therapists who have actually visited and studied in Thailand. This course is easy and fun to learn, and produces a deep and unique feeling of balance, relaxation and well-being. Elements will include working on 'Sen' lines, which are from the Ayurvedic tradition and are the equivalent to Chinese meridians; the stimulation of reflex points using the traditional stick and foot wrapping.

In this dynamic and practical one-day certificated course, we'll take you from massage beginner (or therapist) to being confident in giving a traditional foot massage. The workshop will give you an insight into the origins of Thai foot treatments. This course runs from 10.30am to 5.30pm

Hand-Arm-Foot-Lower Leg Massage 1 day workshop

Exclusive to Massage Course 4 U is our Hand, Arm, Leg and Feet Massage Course. This course utilizes a complementary blend of reflexology, acupressure and massage techniques that reduce tension and offer tremendous health benefits.

Our hand, arm, leg and feet massage course helps to reduce stress whilst stimulating the body to cleanse itself of impurities and toxins. Furthermore it is soothing, refreshing and revitalizes energy levels. This course runs from 10.30am to 5.30pm

Advanced Deep Tissue and Trigger Point Therapy Release 1 day workshop

Unlike classic massage therapy which is generally used for relaxation, this technique enables the therapist to focus on and treat specific problems. Research shows that therapists are increasingly requested to provide deeper and more advanced techniques due to their effectiveness in treating a host of specific issues, the most prevalent being back and shoulder pain. This course runs 10.00am-5pm

Hopi-Ear Candling 1 day workshop

The Hopi Ear Candling Course is a popular course for beginners and therapists offering many benefits. It is a wonderfully relaxing treatment and excellent to use with family and friends or for any therapist to train and add to their existing repertoire.

The skills you will learn on this Hopi Ear Candling course can be used to treat many conditions and includes a soothing face and neck massage.

This course is available to complete beginners as well as trained therapists. This course runs 10.00am-5pm

Hot Stone Massage Course 1 day advanced workshop

Hot Stone massage is a unique form of massage therapy using volcanic stones to warm the body in a specific body sequence.

This massage course will teach how to perform a full body routine as well as how to tailor it to suite the individual client in a safe and effective manner. This course is for qualified therapists only. This course runs from 10am-5.30pm

Thai Hot Herb Massage 1 day advanced workshop

Thai Herbal Compress Massage combines the healing effects of traditional Eastern massage techniques with heated herbal compresses Containing a blend of over 14 aromatic and therapeutic traditional Thai herbs to simultaneously achieve a relaxing and invigorating effect on the mind and body. The treatment purifies, relaxes, warms, relieves aches and pains and improves the skin condition whilst stimulating the senses. Hot compresses can be used to address chronic problems, such as back pain and stiff muscles by working along ‘sen' lines in gentle rolling movements. This course runs from 10am-5.30pm

Spa and Salon staff training

You will receive a fully accredited, 1-day, hands-on training session for up to 6 staff members* (price inclusive for all, not per person). Tutors can travel to your premises or other suitable location
