Just though I would let you know of my recent bad experience! I usually take my car to get an MOT and any other further work at the Masters garage round the back of Babcock because they give Babcock employees a discount and in the past they have done a reasonable job. I had an MOT yesterday where the car passed with just a bulb needing to be changed which the garage changed without telling me prior to doing the work. I received a bill of £74.18 which I have queried with the garage saying "don't we usually get a discount" and stating that the garage should be letting me know what work needs to be undertaken prior to doing it... ...the manager replied shouting at me saying we give discount whenever we feel like it and saying would you rather me charge you with doing the re-test or just do the work. I said you have to at least let your customers know what needs doing prior to doing the work... ...the guy then slammed yes slammed 5 pounds on the table and said "this is what you came for and we wont be seeing you again". I then walked off disgruntled...I wont be going back again to be treated like that!!!
