Just heard from grandma that the man who supposedly fixes laptops has told my gran £50 and now it has jumped to £100. He already had my brothers laptop and after paying off what is owed there was only £20 left to pay, but he has kindly told us that because he has had it for so long he has had to add on VAT??? An interest? If I had known about this I would have dealt with the guy considering I know quite a bit about laptops, I believe he is a conman and I will be going to pay this added £75 VAT and retrieving all that this guy has of ours. Lesson to be learned? Mothers and Grandmothers don't know a thing about laptops. Don't go there.
