Excellent Service, Great Plumber
Matt did his first work for us back in 1999, installing central heating in our first house in Bath. At the time I got 4 quotes and Matt was the guy who impressed me the most. He did a great job and I've never had a reason to turn to anyone else. It also helps that he's a thoroughly decent bloke. Since then he's done many jobs large and small in that house and the one we moved to later. Always professional, always courteous, always thorough. I have no hesitation in recommending him and his work.

5 Star Plumber
In 2010 Matt installed a new central heating system in our old and rambling house. He spent time and energy mapping out and labeling the existing antiquated maze of pipes and then set about replacing it with a new system. He converted the gardeners loo into his machine room with two boilers and a water softening facilities. He advised us on the most efficient way of running the new system to save money on gas bills. He was clean tidy reliable and a pleasure to have around. He has left us with confidence that we can cope with whatever the English weather throws our way. My husband still smiles at Matt's labels on pipes in cupboards. Thank you Matt!

Great service
Matt has done plumbing and heating jobs for me for several years now, and I have always found him prompt, totally reliable, efficient and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending him. He was recommended to me by my brother who is profoundly deaf and found no difficulty in communicating.

First Class Start to Finish
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Matt Spanswick for the fantastic response today. Matt responded very quickly to my emergency. His customer service and understanding of my problems and the urgency was outstanding. He arrived very quickly and diagnosed the problem. Matt sorted out my plumbing and prevented any further issues very quickly. Matt is a credit to his trade, he had a tremendous attitude and provided me with a clear understanding of what had happened and what was required to fix the problem with my heating system. I would definitely recommend Matt and his company for the service that was provided and will be providing his details to my friends and family. Fantastic service from start to finish.

Great plumber
Matt has just replaced two radiators in our living room. He gave us clear advice about our options and responded to a number of queries by email and text before he did the job. He completed the work, along with a boiler and gas fire service within a day and did a very neat job, cleaning up after himself and returning the room to a usable state. I was very happy leaving him to work in the house alone.

Excellent service
Matt has just completed a new boiler installation prior to my new kitchen fit. He completed all the work exactly on time to a very high standard. All his work was neat and well considered. He was very tidy, cleaning up at the end of each day and even offering to mop the floor if I thought it necessary. Matt also fitted two new radiators and connected the new gas hob and sink, again all done in the same efficient manner. Matt is a very personable individual who is entirely trustworthy and I was happy to leave him to work in the house unsupervised. I set very high standards for the work I do in the house and also work that others complete and I would have absolutely no hesitation in either using Matt again or recommending him to a friend.

In the last 24 months Matt has carried out a boiler exchange & total bathroom refurbishment for me, as well as a couple of minor “plumbing type jobs” He’s been really great throughout all of this work, comes up with loads of helpful suggestions as to what kind of boiler, taps, shower heads/pumps, sanitary fittings etc to buy, and was always willing to source good quality kit at sensible prices, as well as using his experience to suggest ways to make the finished job look really good. He’s 100% kept to the timetable agreed for the work, is pretty tidy and is a pleasure to have around the house. Most builders drink a lot of tea, Matt has to be different and consumes vast quantities of coffee! I would 110 % recommend him for any job, large or small.
