Dog friendly Meadowview Cottage is set on the edge of 30 acres of farmland in the small North Cornwall hamlet of Trelash. Once a traditional Cornish barn, Meadowview Cottage is now an exquisite holiday home. Having been sympathetically renovated to a very high specification it is tastefully furnished and equipped with just about everything you could possibly need. Debbie and Roger believe that attention to detail and your comfort is of utmost importance; this is evident the moment you arrive.

Choose from 3 bedrooms plus an en suite shower room, a family bathroom and a luxury vanity unit in one bedroom. On the same level are a fully equipped kitchen, airing room, living room and dining room with stunning views over verdant meadows.

Outside is private parking for three vehicles, two beautiful enclosed gardens, barbecue, enclosed childrens' play park and log cabin housing sauna and exercise equipment.

Family Friendly: The cottage and gardens are on one level so suitable for all generations. Generous facilities are provided for children including an enclosed play park, toys, games, play station PS3, unlimited WiFi and beach accessories. For adults there is a private sauna and exercise equipment, a 50 inch TV and Sky package and Blu-ray DVD plus Freeview TV in every bedroom.

The gardens are distinctly different with one providing a traditional lawn, barbecue and feature well enclosed within traditional Cornish spar stone hedges overlooking the meadow where sheep graze across the fields beyond to as far as the coast. Alternatively, enter the peaceful serenity of the walled tropical garden featuring huge local stones, bamboos, sculptures, huge hostas and a raised, heated, decked area with comfortable seating and twinkling lights where you can enjoy a few sun-downers or just secret away on a balmy sunny afternoon with a drink and a good read.

The A30 is 10 minutes drive providing easy access to all major attractions.

Follow M5 South to Exeter. Take A30 Okehampton/Launceston. Just past Launceston turn left A395 for Wadebridge/Camelford. Follow A395 for 10 miles until you reach Hallworthy. Turn right after the Wisley Down Pub signposted Warbstow. Follow the road past the forestry. After 1.5 miles take a left turn signposted Trelash and then after 100 yards turn right signposted Trelash. When you arrive in the hamlet of Trelash you will come to a crossroads, turn right, then immediately left down a short private lane where a warm welcome awaits you at Meadowview Cottage.

About Us

Before its renovation in 2004, the luxurious Meadowview Cottage, used to accommodate the shippon (milking parlour) of Trelash Farm, which has been in the Bolt family since 1961. Roger was born and brought up here and for many years worked the 300+ acre farm with his parents, Pam and Tom.

Today Roger, with his wife Debbie and their two children, Becky and Tom, live in the old farmhouse and run a 30-acre smallholding. Pam still lives in the hamlet only a few hundred yards away. So when you arrive at Meadowview Cottage you can be sure of a truly warm Cornish welcome.
