Melverley Guest House is an elegant Victorian house offering b & b accommodation. The guest house is situated in a quiet location near Christchurch park. We are participants of the Suffolk Breakfast initiative. Our breakfasts are cooked to order using fresh, locally sourced organic produce when available. Help yourself to cereal, fruit and coffee whilst you decide on a cooked breakfast from the menu. All of our rooms have free wifi access. We have ample free off road parking.

Perfect Vacation Location
My best friend and planned our trip to England (from Canada) when were in high school - over 20 years ago. We finally went and I have to say that Ipswich was a real highlight for me and Melverley Heights Guest House had a huge part in the experience. The home is beautiful, very well maintained and welcoming - as are the owners, Kim and Graham. They were very helpful in helping us plan our excursions to town (a brief 10 minute walk away... past the pub) and knew a lot about the area, including the flora and fauna. The food every morning was delicious and served in this great sunny room overlooking a lovely yard. Our room was comfortable and roomy, again with a great view and it had an ensuite. On that note, I should also write that Melverley Heights had the nicest toilet paper I found in England! My stay at Melverly Heights satisfied my expectations of the vacation I'd dreamed of.
