Booked call out to look at Dryer. Broken belt. Part cost £4. Labour £51 for 10 min job. Additional £10 for not being a "domestic house" & no guarantee on the repair. Explained it was domestic as it is a group of people living together with a little support. I called the office who stated "care home types" always overuse dryers. I again explained it was not a Care Home. I asked why would they discriminate against people who live together and how can they justify overcharging vulnerable people. The engineer was abrupt & condescending. We will never use this company again.

Great service and very honest. Was advised of a few options and issues all sorted now. I clearly know nothing about washing machines and rather than be taken advantage of I was given lots of information with an offer of further assistance

Awful company to deal with!! Said they would arrive between 2-6 pm and as I was at work I paid for somebody to stay in and wait for their arrival. I requested that they have me a curtesy call approximately 20-30 minutes before they arrive and this did not seem a problem at the time. They hadn't arrived by 5 so I called to ask if they knew when they would be at my house, they said they would call me ... I missed the call but called them bk 2 minutes after 4 times ... No one was answering. I called the main line and was assured by a gentleman that was quite short with me that someone would be there.. It got to 6.15, no one had turned up so I called again. They said sorry u did not answer so we did not come, you have to re arrange your appointment. I don't understand that if they don't 'do'curtsy calls anyway why they would not have gone to my property! Thinking someone was after an early dart in to the sunshine! Never again...

washing machine stopped working , I phoned this firm up 15 quid to come check ,he told me if machine was worth fixing , great I did not mind that he came out was in the house ten mins he done all the checks etc , motor has gone he said called his boss for a price £120 plus vat for motor plus labour just over £200 quid for repair , checked myself motor online was £95, I said how come the motor has gone they get full of black soot he said and it trips the mains,he said, the motor has brushes on that wear down the guy never even checked them , so I took motor off myself looked at the brushed on the motor they were worn right down I took motor to electro fix in seaforth guy said you just need brushes mate he fitted new ones £22 and tested the motor all working fine fitted today all working fine yes £22 lol what a rip off of a firm guy thought I must have been thick lol don't trust these cowboys will be calling to complane today bad rip off firm don't even want to give them one star

I ordered a Dyson part from these guys, calling them first to make sure I had the correct part. Good job i called; it's so easy to order the wrong part and I needed to check my model no. and they even narrowed it down to colour and description. Extremely helpful. Another occasion my tumble dryer stopped working. Mda Spares saved me a small fortune. I would highly recommend these guys. Solana

I phoned up for advice about a spare part and the guys gave me some excellent over the phone tips. When I took my spare part to the shop they tested it for free and advised me what the problem was likely to be once the tested part was found to be working. They could have sold me some parts but they took the time to help me maintain my machine without wasting a penny.

When we booked with this company we were not told that our landlord couldn't make the payment the following day. I would have paid the engineer there and then however I didn't have any cash on me. The following day I received a call from a very angry and rude man, complaining about how long it would take him to put in an invoice via email!! This is perhaps the rudest customer service call I've ever had, and for that reason would never use this company again. In the past we have used http://www.merseysideelectricalservices.co.uk/ and would recommend them over mda. In light of all this, the repair man that came out to service my washing machine from mda fixed the problem quickly and was extremely nice.

MDA came out the same day to look at our washing machine & fitted in with our very busy work schedule. They are very professional & their costs are very reasonable.
