Avoid at all costs

We appointed Mighty Grace to renovate the house as their sole director made lots of promises and representations about their services and quality of work. Promises (eg. inclusion of design service) were not kept and the representations turned out to be false (e.g. the company is not in fact a member of any of the trade bodies it claimed to be). Although the original quote looked reasonable, the subsequent charges and extra costs were not. There were significant problems with some of the works (a lot of it was done by "trial and error") and the rest were of average quality at best. The director got really nasty when we started asking questions about the highly inflated costs and she even threatened to sue just to stop us from carrying on further works in the house "for a year or two". Dealing with Mighty Grace was (and still is!) an absolute nightmare. If it weren't for the fixed rating system on this website, I would've given them negative stars!
