TAKES YOUR MONEY AND RUNS
DO NOT CALL THIS MAN HE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT DO THE WORK OR STRAIGHT UP DESTROY YOUR CAR!! Came to look at my car and said i needed parts to be ordered which is fair enough, wanted half the money, £300 as a deposit to let him know i wasn't gonna mess him about (how ironic). a week later he turned up 2 hours late (which seems to become a trend at this point) to fit the part after alot of chasing and ignored messages. never even saw the new part he just dismantled my car and then said he had ordered the wrong part and needed to go away and order the right one and then he left, my car still in pieces outside my house at this point. now after him saying he will be here today at 11am to give me a refund has not showed up and has blocked my number. Google him John Kenny. I have all the information i need to inform him to the police.

Avoid!
A man called John Kenny (5ft .5 ish) mid 50's short white/grey hair and overweight turned up to fix my car. He diagnosed the problem to be the 'tork convertor' and said he can get the part for £360 but as he is a mobile mechanic he can't pay for the part himself. This is my usual experience with mechanics so didn't think it was a problem. I sent him the money. He told me he would be over in a few days but never turned up. I called him, he either wouldn't answer his phone, then told me he was in hospital, then told me he was stuck in Ipswich. After 2 weeks he returned (18th December) then told me he made a mistake and it was now the DPF that needed replacing and that would cost £600. I was uneasy about this so he left and said we could talk later on the phone as he had to rush off to another job. After that he stopped answering his phone. after a few more days I eventually got hold of him and he said he has got the new part himself and will be over the next day (23rd December) he never showed up. He has stopped answering my calls and messages completely. I have since googled him and found out he was given a suspended prison sentence in September 2018 for fraud. He has done this many times before, just google him! FYI the bank card name that I transferred the money to was MRS S J Bowling. I have reported him to the police. Stay away
