About us

We are Cornwall's longest established mobile phone repair, unlocking and accessories provider.

We have built up our excellent reputation over many years. So much so that a large percentage of our customers are referred to us by the main high street shops (like Vodafone etc). Also, over the years, we have provided regular repair and unlocking services for a number of multi-franchised independent mobile phone suppliers.

We are an informal partnership trading as Mobile World in Truro's Pannier Market (opposite Marks and Spencer's) since 2000. We are partnered with Splash Mobiles in Par Market (Cornish Market World, St Austell)

Repairs

We can repair most mobile phone problems. We repair on-site and phones are not sent away. This means that we can offer fast repairs. We realise that a mobile phone is usually more than just a phone these days: we use them for emails, apps, photos, contacts etc. Therefore, we endeavour to offer the fastest turnaround for repairs that is available.
Between the 3 shops in our partnership, we are open (in at least one location) every day of the week, we can often
repair your mobile phone on the same day!

This is because we usually stock replacement parts for common models and faults.

We operate a no fix-no fee policy. This means that if we can't fix the problem (and we usually can!) you will
not be charged a penny!

We can also repair water-damaged phones.

The best way to proceed is to just pop your phone into us so that we can actually see the problem
and give you the best advice we can.

We Can Unlock Your Mobile Phone!

If your mobile phone is locked to one provider, and you get "invalid sim card", "Phone Restricted", "Enter Subsidy Password", "Enter Network Lock Code" or similar when you put in another sim card, your phone will need to be unlocked.

We can unlock your mobile cell phones here. We offer several different options for mobile phone unlocking, depending on the make and model. There are many benefits to unlocking your phone, including the ability to use your phone all over the world, increasing its value, and going over to a cheaper or preferred service provider tariff, and increased versatility.


Please note: there is a difference between a "locked" phone, and a "blocked" phone. If a phone has been reported as lost or stolen, the network (eg Orange, O2 etc) may have blocked (also known as "barred") the phone. That phone will not work again (on any network) unless the same network provider removes the bar on the network. When a phone is unlocked (by us) the network lock on the phone is removed but if the phone is "blocked/barred" it will still not be able to make calls in the UK. Many people buy phones from E bay or boot sales, only to find out - unfortunately - that the phones have been barred/blocked and are no longer usable.
