Rudest shop staff ever!

My wife and I visited this store looking for a present for a member of the family who is building a miniature railway. Despite it being perfectly obvious that we needed some help and advice we were completely ignored by the staff. this is a small store so it was impossible that we were not seen, indeed most of our discussions took place about 4/5 feet away from the store manager. The staff there seemed more than happy to acknowledge regular shoppers who were clearly within their little group and the staff spent all their time in conversation with them - not I hasten to add serving them. We felt like we were outsiders. When we did ask for assistance we were given monosyllabic responses and the manager seemed like he could not wait to get away from us. When we left we were not even acknowledged. I am a great fan of independent stores and try whenever possible to support them but the arrogant and ignorant manner of the staff here mean I will NEVER step foot in there again. It seems that, unless you are a full time modeller, you are not welcome in this dreadful place.
